That comment as to be taken in context - (Me, I, Myself and Others too!!: 9am Appointment).
Such a universal definition of love -True love is an acceptance of all that is, has been, will be, and will not be- is false. Perhaps such a definition may be true for the man whose wife has Alzheimers.
Does true love not vary from couple to couple and from person to person? Perhaps this may explain the infinite number of ways in which one may express his/her feelings. This is what makes love so intangible, yet at the same time, so ubiquitous.
Do you still think there is true love?
Yes, there is............ a mother's love, and love to ownself.
To be realistic, for any love from other people, don't expect the same kind of true love.... cuase you won't give the that to that person too....
Cheer up.... when you don't expect to much from others, you will be happier....

People doubt not its presence, but its form.
